Author's Guide

Please use the following guidelines to prepare your manuscript before submitting it to the Jurnal Refraksi Optisi.

Title: Times New Roman 14pt

The title should be clear and concise. Only the initial letter of the title should be capitalized and not bolded. The author's name and affiliation should be as stated above. The author's name should be clearly written without titles. Headings should be numbered using the Arabic alphabet with a maximum of three subheadings.

Abstract [Times New Roman 10]

The abstract should be written in Indonesian, with a maximum of 250 words in Times New Roman 10 font, single-spaced, and each paragraph should be written in a single column format.

Keywords

Keywords, consisting of 3-5 words, should be part of the paper title, written in lowercase letters except for abbreviations, and separated by commas.

Example Keywords: distance vitror, ​​pupil distance, comfort of eyeglass users, [maximum 5 keywords]

Manuscript Structure

The article must contain: 1) Introduction, 2) Research Method (can include analysis, architecture, methods used to solve the problem, implementation), 3) Results and Discussion, 4) Conclusion, 5) Acknowledgments (if any), and Bibliography. The subtitle should be in Times New Roman 10 bold font.

The introduction should answer the following questions: a. Background, b. Brief literature review, c. Rationale for this study, d. Questions about the objectives.

Research Methodology

Explain the preparation methods and characterization techniques used. Briefly and accurately describe the measurements, volumes, replications, and processing techniques. New methods should be explained in detail so that other researchers can replicate the experiment. Established methods can be explained by reviewing the literature.

Manuscript Length

Manuscripts should be written on A4 paper with a minimum of 5 pages and a maximum of 15 pages, including tables and figures, and should adhere to the writing procedures outlined in this article.

Tables

Tables should be numbered in the order in which they appear (Table 1, Table 2, Table n.). Table titles should be centered above the table. The font used for table titles and table contents should be 8pt. Tables should be cited and cited in the text.

Figures

Figures should be numbered in the order in which they appear (Figure 1, Figure 2, Figure n.). Figure captions should be centered on the page, below the figure (centered). The font size should be 8pt. Figures should be cited and cited in the text.

Page Specifications

Use Arial typeface throughout the manuscript, with the font size as exemplified in this writing guide. Single-space the text and the text should be justified. Page size is A4 (210 mm x 297 mm). Top-bottom, left-right margins are 25 mm. An easy way to write your manuscript is to write directly in the Journal template.

References

References should be written using the IEEE Referencing Standard. It is recommended to use Mendeley, Endnote, or Zotero. Everything listed in the bibliography/references must be referenced in the paper. A minimum of 10 primary and recent references (from the last 5 years) should be included.
